Whether you’re insuring, buying, selling, or settling a divorce or estate, a quality appraisal is essential. Legacy offers a variety of Vehicle Appraisals based on your needs including: Fair Market, Replacement Cost, Pre-loss Value, and Diminished Value appraisals. Viewing your vehicle can be conducted at your location or at my place.
Fair Market Value
Also called Current Market. This is an Expert Opinion of value for Buying, Selling, or Insuring a vehicle
Diminished Value
Determines the reduction of value to your vehicle as the result of accident damage even after it has been repaired. I only do this for classic & specialty vehicles.
Replacement Value
The cost to replace your highly restored or custom vehicle is used when obtaining insurance for highly modified or One of a Kind vehicles
Pre-Loss Value
Determines what the value was before an accident to prevent a write off or to receive adequate compensation. I only do this for classic & specialty vehicles.
* For Pre-Loss & Diminished Value Appraisals, I am currently only providing this for specialty vehicles and not daily drivers.

Detailed Description
Your vehicle's condition will be evaluated with both points ratings and a thorough written description. Customization and upgrades will be extensively documented and I can assist you with creating parts lists with current prices.
Model Vehicle Information
Vehicle model information and model historical background information is provided.
Value Determination
I explain my process for determining value, why I chose certain value guides & comparable vehicles, and how I did my calculations. This makes it much harder for an insurance company to challenge the value when it is time to pay out a claim.

Extensive Vehicle Information
I Decode your vehicles VIN and Body Tags with information of how your vehicle was optioned. Production numbers are provided unless unavailable. For classic vehicles, parts code numbers will also be decoded to verify they are correct.
Highly Documented
Any information that you provide such as PHS, ownership history, racing or show achievements, etc, will be included in your appraisal.
Photographic Documentation
30+ photos are included with additional photos kept on record.
Professional Report
In addition to a printed copy of your concise appraisal, I will email you a PDF that was created as one professional document instead of scanning files and photos into multiple documents.
All comps, value guides, and photos are kept on file for a minimum of 5 years.
About Me
I have 25 years of experience building custom vehicles and owning customized classic cars which includes, doing 100% of all the work myself to complete multi-show winning restorations, building custom race engines & drivetrains, building fast street/race cars, repairs and upgrades to classic and specialty cars. I identified a need to take what was good about appraisals that I was receiving and add what I felt was missing.
