Kit Cars
Kit Cars are entirely hand build custom vehicles often based on a existing vehicle chassis and have fairly subjective values. Comparable vehicles distances may be unreasonable and you cannot assess the build quality of vehicles for sale based on photos alone. I know how to identify the quality of workmanship, the quality of parts, and desirability of your kit car. I work with clients to document labour and parts with current prices and in most cases build a spreadsheet of those costs. Without documenting what exactly went into the build and explanation what is unique, how can anyone know what to compare it to?

U-Builts are completely one of a kind vehicles built without even using an existing vehicle chassis which is why insurance companies usually prefer Cost to Build appraisals. I work with clients to update their out of date parts list and labour current values.

Thousands of hours and an extensive investment in parts may have gone into your Custom Show Only Vehicle. Many appraisers are not willing to even take on the these appraisals because of the amount of work required to do them properly. I will provide a report with points ratings, a detailed written description of every aspect of your vehicle, document it with 30+ photos and more kept record, and work with you to create a parts & labour spreadsheet with current prices. It is important to find out if your insurer wants a Fair Market appraisal or Replacement Build Cost. Once I have appraised your vehicle, I have discounted rates for updating it with a fresh appraisals as you make further enhancements.
